Welcome back for Day 2! Yesterday we learned that gratitude is the secret to success in any respect of life. Following the Universal Law of Attraction, gratitude attracts more of what you are grateful for. If you’re grateful for your job, you will get the promotion you’ve been wanting. If you’re grateful for your income, it will increase. If you’re grateful for you magickal abilities, they will get stronger – the possibilities are infinite.
I started this challenge because I wanted to start the new year by being grateful- truly grateful – for 2018. I started practicing gratitude last year, but you can never be too grateful. If I learn even one new thing through this then I’ll be pleased. If I learn nothing, but you learn something, or even better, your life starts improving, then I will be over the moon! (why is that a euphemism for happy? I’ve always wondered that…)
So I trust that you have figured out a way to keep a written record of our enchanted endeavor, and you have gone over to Amazon and purchased your copy of The Magic so you can read along with me! You can get it on Kindle for like 11 bucks – I’d say it’s a wise investment if your life turns out the way Rhonda Byrne promises it does!
The Magic Rock
(The Magic, p.37-41)
Reflect upon your present blessings of which every man has plenty; not on your misfortunes of which all men have some.
First you will continue to Count your Blessings
(make a list of 10 items, then read all 20 items aloud followed by thank you thank you thank you for each one).
Find a Magic Rock – a smooth rock small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. I’m using tumbled crystal – a piece of Malachite, because it’s winter here and all the rocks are under several feet of snow and the malachite feels good in my hands.
Keep the rock by your bedside – clear a space if you have to, because you want to see the rock every night.
When you get into bed, take the rock, hold it in your power hand (dominant hand), and close your fist around it. Think about your day, and focus on the best part of the day. Replay the best part of the day in your mind, then say Thank you out loud.
For the rest of the month you will be starting and ending your day with gratitude.
