Magical Gratitude 28-Day Challenge: Day 18

Welcome to Day 18!

We all know that one way to be successful is the discipline to plan ahead and stick to those plans. I’ve tried a number of planners, task apps, calendars, and even the BuJo method. I watched several how-to videos, and despite the narrator saying how easy and time saving it is, I found it complicated, confusing, and messy. I like a good cluttered page – but not when I’m trying to write small and can’t

read anything I’ve written because they’re all on top of each other. I gave it a week – I couldn’t remember the icons, despite the key, and in the end I cut out the pages I wasted and decided to use it as a journal. I’ve just purchased a new bullet journal, this time using the content page system (sorta) but didn’t even bother with the planning part of it. I’m currently working on a new project – Magical Musings School of Witchcraft! My newest BuJo is dedicated to that. I have a section of resources I’ll use or plan to use, then have a section outlining the classes I’ll include and a break down of the lessons. The rest of the journal is divided up so each class has a section, where I keep notes, sketch out intro’s or lesson plans, write down quotes, even doodle possible logo designs.
After the BuJo planning mess, I was given a Happy Planner! My best friend upgraded to the biggest one, and gave me her mini! I went out the next day and purchased refills and a new hard cover (I HATE when the corners of pages get curled up from being put into a bag) and then went right to youtube to find ways to personalize it without paying the crazy high prices for the Happy Planner addition packs. My little planner may look messy, but to me it’s organized chaos. I’ve got stickers, folders, sticky notes galore and I love it! I even got some elastic ribbon from Walmart and made a band to wrap around the book to keep it closed, and a little ring that’s attached to the back cover so I can keep a pen with it at all times. I love it, and it’s helped me keep my life under control! The upcoming months will only get more hectic, so it will only become more precious to me. If you haven’t already, try Happy Planner! Like I said, you pay for a hard cover, a basic dated packet, then hit the dollar store, craft store or Walmart to make it your own without spending more than you have to.

So why am I going on about planners, you may be wondering. Well, today we are going to make a to-do list – a Magical to-do list!

This Magical To-Do List practice will help you with any little day-to-day problems when you don’t know what to do or when you simply want something to be done for you. You will be amazed at the results!

The Magic, p.168

I must admit, the last part there makes me think of infomercials, promising amazing results for a hair tie that makes you tan or rings that lower your blood pressure lol (I haven’t actually seen either, but I’ve seen equally silly). this is a little different though, because we have the Law of Attraction and the magic of Gratitude working behind the scenes.

So, make a list titled MAGICAL TO-DO LIST, and write out a list of the most important things/problems you need done/solved. Choose 3 of the most important from the list imagine that they were done for you – make sure you envision one task at a time. After you have imagined how, when, and by whom each item was completed/solved, s
pend one minute on each item, believing that it’s done and feeling immense gratitude in return.

As always, start the day by adding 10 blessings to your Thank you List, and end the day by holding your magic rock and saying THANK YOU for the best part of the day before going to bed.
Until tomorrow, my lovely readers!
